Why seamless?
In rotary printing the cylinder turns continuously over the fabric. A single seam on the body would print a faint line every time the cylinder completed a revolution. Because a galvanic screen is one piece, the design continues unbroken through the repeat and no join shows in the print.
Perforation and mesh
The micro perforations across the screen are the paths the paste takes into the fabric. The higher the mesh number, the finer the opening: finely detailed designs call for a high mesh, while solid grounds work with a lower mesh that lets more paste through. Once we have your design we decide the right mesh together.
Where the body comes from
We do not electroform the galvanic body ourselves; we source it ready for engraving. What we do here is colour separation, matching the mesh and lacquer, laser engraving and head fitting.
How it is delivered
Once engraving is finished, the screen is dispatched either with its head fitted and ready for the machine, or without a head, as you prefer. Packing is prepared to the screen's circumference and length.
Close up
The body,
close up.
The texture of the nickel body, its mouth and its surface after engraving. We source the body and do the engraving on our own lines.
